At AST, we incorporate the major principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in all our autism therapy programs. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a process for studying and modifying observable behavior. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is also referred to as behavior therapy, behavior modification, or behavioral intervention. It involves examining how a particular behavior looks, how long it lasts, and how often it occurs, then applying Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methods to reinforce appropriate behaviors and decrease inappropriate behaviors.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the most widely researched and scientifically-validated treatment for autism. We use a blend of different Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies carefully tailored for each individual’s program, including Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Self-Management, and a range of social skills training techniques. We work closely with families to monitor progress and determine the right strategy for their child, and to ensure that sessions are enjoyable, productive, and result in a high rate of learning.
