“Seeing the progress and achievements of the clients we serve and the joy it brings their families really makes my day. I’m blessed to work with a great team of clinicians and train new staff daily to help those families.”
Dai’s career in applied behavior analysis (ABA) began in 2009 when she collaborated on research with her undergraduate professor. This experience ignited her passion for empowering children with special needs. She wanted to support their families by imparting transformative life skills. Pursuing this passion, Dai earned her master’s degree in ABA from the University of North Texas, where she specialized in early intervention, functional assessment, and strategies for addressing behaviors that interfered with growth and development. That led her to complete her master’s thesis focused on intensive toilet training.
Since becoming a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) in 2015, Dai has been a vital part of Autism Spectrum Therapies (AST). Her roles have evolved from managing technician to behavior analyst. Now, as the assistant clinical director in the Beach Cities region, she leads a team of BCBAs. She is a staunch advocate for families, helping them access essential services every day. Her leadership and expertise continue to make a significant difference in the community she serves.
