Applied behavior analysis (ABA), considered the gold standard of treatment for autism by the American Academy of Pediatrics, teaches skills and behaviors essential for daily living. ABA has evolved significantly over the last several years. Our version of ABA, which we refer to as contemporary ABA, treats every child as unique and considers family and caregivers a core part of treatment.
