      Our Team

      Lindsay Abbott, M.A., BCBA, LBA

      Assistant Clinical Director

      Lindsay Abbott is the assistant clinical director for Autism Spectrum Therapies (AST) in greater Tucson, AZ. She has supported families and individuals with autism in the area for over 15 years. She holds a master’s degree in special education with an emphasis in severe and multiple disabilities. Lindsay is a board certified behavior analyst and has been licensed in Arizona since 2014. She is passionate about serving Tucson families through collaboration with other community professionals, providing access to resources and various programs, and developing quality person and family-centered services across environments.

      Julianne McKenzie, M.ED., BCBA, LBA

      Clinical Director

      “I love watching individuals grow, obtain new skills, and achieve dreams others thought impossible.” 

      Julianne McKenzie is AST’s clinical director in Arizona. She leads a team of supervisors and behavior interventionists serving families in and around the Phoenix area. During her undergraduate education, Julianne served as an academic advisor and ADA coordinator (Americans with Disabilities Act) and developed a passion for helping individuals with disabilities access resources to support their independence. She received her master’s degree in special education with an emphasis in applied behavior analysis (ABA) from Arizona State University. Julianne is a licensed board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) and has worked with individuals with autism for more than 10 years. She specializes in advanced social programming, including cognition and executive functioning, and has extensive experience working with young adult populations participating in transitional and vocational services. 

      Sabrina Daneshvar, Ph.D., BCBA-D

      Senior Vice President, Clinical Services

      Dr. Sabrina Daneshvar oversees service delivery and clinical operations across several states at LEARN. An active member of the autism community, Dr. Daneshvar has presented at many state and national conferences, authored articles for peer-reviewed journals, and served as a guest grant reviewer for Autism Speaks and a guest reviewer for the Journal of Positive Behavior Interventions. With a Ph.D. in developmental psychology, she teaches graduate-level courses and is a board certified behavior analyst and licensed psychologist. Recently, Dr. Daneshvar was selected for Chief, a membership network that connects and supports female leaders.
